Today at work, I became very frustrated with SMART on my laptop. It worked great yesterday at home, then today it was giving me a whole host of errors. I was trying to install tuxracer (or rather penguin racer) and lineak. In both cases, I kept getting parameter errors. Before writing the list (and possibly being godwinated) I wanted to see if I had the same problems at home. Sure enough, I installed those packages without a hitch. Is there - that people know of - an issue with some of the smart repositories behind firewalls. It seemed to work fine for the "offiical" SUSE repo, but none of the others. I was authenticated and could get out to web pages, but just not the smart repos. TIA -- Kai Ponte www.perfectreign.com || www.4thedadz.com remember - a turn signal is a statement, not a request
