This ofcourse does not apply to speed-comparison, because an OS is usually slower in emulator. Actually I have found, that disk-operations are sometimes faster under emulator, but screen-handling is much slower, so it is definetly not for gaming!
True enough (the speed thing), but I am using VMWare and Win98 for things like browsing a website that I just cannot get to work in Linux, and it works fine both as a windowed app and full screen. In fact if you switch it to full screen - and don't try to run a game (ie use it for things like the Internet cafe), you cannot really tell it it Windows running in an emulator. Speed is more than acceptable, but I am running it on an AMD Athalon 1Ghz processor with a load of RAM.. that seems to really help. C. -- This is Linux country. If you listen carefully, you can hear Windows reboot...
