Also, this does NOT effect nvidia boxes. I have the current Xorg running on nvidia boxes with no problem. (although I have notices an intermittent hiccup in the displays) This may not effect all radeon boxes either, but it does affect the X12xx X13xx series cards (lots of laptops).
