Hi all.
May I add an on-topic specific question?
Some years (and opensuse versions) ago, (on both Android and IOS, but worts on IOS) cable transfers were plagued by interruptions in the middle of the job (so much that I choose sFTP over USB).
That indeed was why I switched to adb. Maybe the problems have been solved, but adb pull was always faster and more reliable for me. The security has been improved, so I have no concerns anymore having it running - it will only connect to known devices and via known cable (all via signatures that need to be approved) adb pull /sdcard/DCIM/Camera and after successful copying of the pics, I do a adb shell rm /sdcard/DCIM/Camera/*; to automatically download the photos... path may vary depending on phone. I even had this automated through a udev rule (copies photos to destination when phone is connected), but that didn work the way i needed. I have a long image manipulation script running after download from phones (and my camera's SDcard), so it's a bit more complex than above. I also convert Movies into web optimized versions with fade-in and fade-out, all automatically and in the background...
This issue has improved or we still face this problem?
Thanks a lot,

Hi,
I am traveling with my laptop with OS 15.5(KDE and should copy large files from my phone to the laptop.
I have sshelper on the phone. But I forgot to copy the rsync command I use at home and didn't find out (google doesn't help). I can connect via console to the phone with ssh, but all my rsync trials failed (the parameters and/or path are wrong).
I see you are trying wireless methods. Why don't you simply use the USB cable? Just plug the cable ends to both phone and laptop, and dolphin should see the phone instantly and allow you to copy files in the normal way.
The phone should pop a message as to what to do with the connection, because it can be used for several things. Just select "file transfer". After you do that, dolphin should see the phone directories and files.
