All,
I got a droid 3 recently. I tried posting from it a couple times today.
Both times, the e-mail was rejected due to HTML content.
I'm using the gmail app. Does anyone know if it can be configured to send text only emails?
When I got my Android tablet I quickly discovered Google wants to own my data. When I try to download in the Marketplace it asks me to "sign in" to my Google account and immediately without prompting starts to sync all my Google data to the device. To combat this I uninstalled all the apps that have to do with Google sync. Now I access my Gmail from the regular Mail app as IMAP, and I can send to this mailing list just fine. Of course, since Google wants to own your data, if you don't use the Gmail app (which is removed on my device) you loose basic function, such as "search." -- Med Vennlig Hilsen, A.
