Ok, Suse fans, I just received a revelation from the XFree86.org mailing list which turned away an XFree (Ubuntu user) because he is using Xorg. Well, my Suse 10.0 uses Xorg as well... so, at least in XFree86 land, Xorg is no longer considered XFree86??
Old news, dude. (Febuary, 2004?) SuSE switched way back with 9.2
Is Xorg an XFree fork of sorts---?
Yes, it was a big noisy affair. http://www.xfree86.org/pipermail/forum/2003-March/000268.html
Is XFree86 irrelevant now?
