iiuc he wants to use mc and mc does not support "mtp://", ie: file tree
So do I. I "open" the phone with Thunar, then in mc I open "/run/user/1000/gvfs/mtp:....something", in the standard file tree.
good to know.
attaching my S9+ told phone to allow connection dolphin has mtp:/Paka Galaxy S9+/
ls -la /run/user/1000/gvfs/ total 0 dr-x------ 2 paka users 0 Feb 20 18:24 . drwx------ 11 paka users 380 Feb 21 16:58 ..
You need to do it with a gnome or xfce browser: cer@Telcontar:~> ls /run/user/1000/gvfs/mtp\:host\=%5Busb%3A001%2C005%5D/Almacenamiento\ interno\ compartido/ AccuWeather Movies Podcasts alt_autocycle duscene timestamped Alarms Music Recorders backups external_sd viewranger ... There are also mtp cli tools somewhere. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.0 x86_64 at Telcontar)
