OK, after my first post a few days ago on crashing plasma and krunner (still unsolved) I now have an additional problem regarding Plasma: it uses up all CPU and memory after some time. More specific it is now at 98% CPU and 1,6 Gig and 81% memory (Virt.).
In a konsole, did you try to kquitapp plasma-desktop then move the plasma* files in ~/.kde4/share/config/ and restart plasma-desktop afterwards? If that works, you can move your old plasma* files back and remove the plasmoids in them one by one to find the one that is causing it.
