Mozilla update

Hi everybody. Has enyone else encountered a problem with the most recent security update to Mozilla-1.4 which causes Mozilla to become unlaunchable? Specifically, I've found that if I replace mozilla-1.4-72(from DVD) with mozilla-1.4.1-12(via YOU) to fix the buffer overflow in the S/MIME code of Mozilla, the application becomes unlaunchable - no error, just doesn't start.
