Just had a crash on my system after trying to play a dvd. My home partition refuses to mount and reiserfsck reports an unrecoverable error, possibly bad block. Fortunately, I managed to backup my friend's files on CD today just before the crash. Unfortunately, my files have not been backed-up. Any ideas on
1) how I could possibly repair my drive. 2) retrieve some of my data.
Is there a way using something like ddrescue? Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Boot into the rescue system. run reiserfsck on your affected hard drive. Don't use any advanced
