Hello,
I just tried to install OpenSuSE 11.3 fresh on an Acer Aspire 4553 .
acpi=off
It was not working before because I entered noacpi.
Seems like that machine is way too new to require ACPI=Off if you ask me, and who knows what else does not work with that turned off. I remember having to do this with marginal hardware around the year 2000. -- Explain again the part about rm -rf / -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
