Sure, the one I'm testing all the time, poedit 1.4.3 (I had it handy and it is small, not because I want to compile that one). What do you need? But I think that you can test with (almost) any package that you don't have already installed. That's the quid of the question: if the rpm or package is installed already, checkinstall runs fine (as root, of course).
