I would say this is the error, yes.
Do you have the file /usr/include/gtk-1.2/gtk/gtk.h on your system? In my 8.1 it is provided by gtk-devel.rpm.
Yes, I do, and that is what has be baffled. I even went to SuSE ftp lastnight and d/l and reinstalled gtk and gtk-devel. That is what leads me to believe the path is hosed, but I forgot where the path is to check to see if its correct.
It's also a little suspicious that it's looking in the directory /usr/include/gtk-1.2.1. Have you installed something manually? gtk in 8.1 is 1.2.10, so if you've installed 1.2.1 it would be a downgrade, I think.
I installed gtk-conf from their site when I could not find a solution to this
problem. Other then that, everything is from SuSE, cd or site.
