When I try to upgrade to 10.3, when the upgrade process gets trying to mount the partitions it stops saying that it can not mount var with the present configuration.
I have each of the partitions on separate partitions and different drives; i.e., / = /dev/hda3, /home=/dev/sdb2, /usr=/dev/hdb1, /var=/dev/hdb2, swap=/dev/sda1, etc.
The disk I am using checks out and I used it to upgrade my laptop.
I, also, checked out the problem as suggested by the error message on Novell's site, but that was no help.
Any Ideas as to the problem?
probably the /dev/hdXX naming. 10.3 uses scsi naming scheme. - -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFHPxIxClSjbQz1U5oRAgiEAJ43WkTsFzHXiaewJ34/BaZLd3alOwCeMBTA Q9gV8knC0D1m9if/W09VyMQ= =Yj93 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
