Get Partition Magic. It's worth the $60-80 you pay, you will do in 30 minutes what takes EXPERTS a couple of days to do. And you will do it again. And again. $60-80 is nothing, trust me (and I don't even have an income!) It supports ext2fs and FAT32. I'll defer the other questions.
