-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hi, A chap at the forums had failed to create the usb stick for installation following several published procedures. But he succeeded with this one: # cp image.iso /dev/sdX # sync And that's it! No more 'dd', or imagewrite, whatever. Just a cp to the raw device, umounted. Someone can explain why it works? Or why it should not work? Do we want to plublish this method on our wiki (for 13.1)? :-) He took the idea from here: <http://superuser.com/questions/620877/cp-command-to-make-bootable-iso-image-usb> The forum thread is here: View this thread: <http://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php?t=489025> - -- Cheers Carlos E.
