[opensuse] How To plan migration from v10.3 -> v11 *and* Smart -> Zypper ?

I have an OpenSuse 10.3 box, sync-ing with a bunch of repos using Smart Package Manager. With OpenSuse 11 on the way, I'm trying to figure out the "best" (= safe? = easy?) way to migrate/upgrade my current setup. I'd like to end up using the new Zypper/Yast2 under v11. What are the steps I should take to (1) prepare for the upgrade to "Release 11", and (2) switchover from Smart to Zypper/Yast2?
