SuSE 7.1 and yast2 troubles

      To All:

I was just given a SuSE 7.1 box to harden and install security updates
on, but when I ssh in and run yast2->Online Update it tells me:

Connect error
There is no connection to network; please connect manually.
[ok][cancel]

I have tried multiple ftp servers from within YOU, and I am able to
browse the web, ftp, ssh, and much more from this box, just not YOU. But
I am able to do this with all my 7.3 boxes. Please help.
