Hi, Im goint try this again,
Im running KDE 3.4 on openSUSE 10.2.
Couple of reboots ago I started loosing my keyboard and mouse settings. Single click, keyboard repeat, mouse acceleration is all messed-up. When I go to the Configure Panel and click on the Default button the correct settings are displayed, when I then Apply everything works normally, until a restart looses it again.
Where are the settings kept? and what program loads them?
I'd also like to know, just to store in the back of my dark crypt as it might be useful one day :)
Well, sofar I can find all the config files in [~/.kde/share/config], the file for input is [kcminputrc]. Now to find out why it is not completely loaded - some config items are loaded, like the cursorTheme, but not the keyboard repeat -- real mystery to me. So what/who loads these files? kcminit? who calls it etc. E-Mail disclaimer: http://www.sunspace.co.za/emaildisclaimer.htm -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
