Hello, I'm getting ready to connect to my ISP and notice - using dmesg, that ppp is not compiled in. So, the frist thing one has to do with the SuSE kernel is compile it for ppp?
No, don't recompile your kernel. The 'SuSE kernel' loads everything when it is needed, all ppp-stuff is loaded as modules. Don't worry, just use wvdial or kppp to setup a connection.
