Nice idea but access.conf is not accessible through /etc/sysconfig.
niether are lots of other important files. Am I suppose to put them in
there or something? how?

On 8.0, if I make modifications to files in /etc (for instance, access.conf) the system doesn't notice the changes.
Example?
anyone know how to get the updated files to be recognized by the system?
Why not change to config files /etc/sysconfig and have SuSEconfig do it?
