Clayton,
all you need to do is enable and configure the Samba client on the Linux machine. Samba talks NetBEUI over tcp/ip.

No I don't know why he uses an ancient protocol like NetBEUI... He likes to do
things the hard way I guess. Interesting question though.... Anyone have
any ideas or suggestions of where I can look for onfo on this?
