Quite correct. You are offered a change from ReiserFS to some other FS. If you refuse the offer it constitutes an error and that file system is no longer part of the new /etc/fstab since, as Mr Brown points out, support being not there means that the module is no longer there. An error on the RootFS conversion means that the installation HAS to be aborted. Similarly my /usr/share and /tmp and /opt and /var and /srv not being converted are not fatal errors, the old data in them doesn't have to be loaded to have a functionaing system. The same for /home/anton and everything below that, Mail, Documents, Music, Movies, Photographs and more. If and only if there is a reiser module under the new /lib/$(uname -r)/kernels/fs can I patch things up afterwards. What Mr Brown says makes me think that there will not be.
