I posted how to fix this awhile ago, is there an archive of this list anywhere? Anyways, to fix it, you will have to recompile your kernel with "Unix98 PTY" support, after you do that, it goes without the warning message. Can someone tell me what /dev/pts is? Since i recompiled the kernel, i get a start-up warning that it is not installed. Is this a problem? Everything seems to work ok.
thanks, mark
