[SLE] No sound with CD-Players

I was able to get sound to work with the isapnp and adding the module. I get all the KDE sounds and ESD works at the prompt. Hoever, I am not able to use any CD-plyaers like Workman or the KDE multimedia stuff. I even tryed to remove the KDE Multi-Media Kit, but Yast never removes it. I mean after removal and going through SuSE config I can go back into Yast and the Kit is installed as before? Any ideas why sound seems fine but no CD Players work?
