The trouble is, is that it will only start up the MC> Plasma/Wayland desktop and I need it to bring up the Plasma/X11 MC> desktop instead. [...] You've got a dependency issue. Please execute this; $ startplasma-x11 > plasma.log 2>&1 This plasma.log will give you a clue to the solution. Alternatively, here is another solution. 1. start YaST2 2. Select "Software Management" 3. Select "View", then "KDE Plasma 6 Desktop Base" 4. Select "Dependencies" item on the Menu bar 5. Execure "Check Now", then 6. Press the "Accept" button in the lower right corner. After this, try to log in to Plasama/X11. Best Regards. --- ┏━━┓彡 Masaru Nomiya mail-to: nomiya @ lake.dti.ne.jp ┃\/彡 ┗━━┛ "Japan was the future but it's stuck in the past" -- Rupert Wingfield-Hayes (BBC) --
