As you may have noticed, "blacklist snd-hda-intel" disables the function of the intel's sound chip on the M/B and on the video card. BTW, I also installed rosegarden to try it out, and log says I should also have pulseaudio-equalizer, which has no defined dependencies, but do you have it? Have fun with rosegarden!
