Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GIMP_CFLAGS and GIMP_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details.
Next, i tried it with this command :
./configure GIMP_LIBS=/usr/bin/gimp GIMP_CFLAGS=/usr/bin/gcc
no error were produced. But when i continue it with 'make', this is what i got :

You should install the gimp-devel and gimpui-devel packages, since it is missing all the header files. That was what ./configure was trying to tell you too, be it a bit cryptically.
