Amavis

I see that amavis is running by default, but since I have not setup a virus utility it is useless. Can anybody recommend me a setup that is working with it? I followed several links from the amavis web site, but all these links are either not working or offer than another server product. It is confusing, since I do not know what do I really need? Is it just the description file or the entire antivirus produtct?
