381.22 are not beta drivers - they are the latest official release version and are already patched for 4.11 and 4.12 kernels. Check out the support forums linked above. The Nvidia driver search form http://www.nvidia.com/ says, that 375.66 is the latest released driver. But here http://www.nvidia.de/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en 381.22 is the latest driver. Nvidia should probably fix their nvidia.com pages. Thanks.
Greetings, Björn That’s why I provided the link to the nvidia support forum - latest driver releases are announced there, while the driver search page seems to lag 1-2 generations behind. :)
Ah, you seem to have answered my question I asked in another message. Does this really mean that a driver for a 64-bit Linux system will work on any nVidia GPU card installed on a 64-bit Linux-running computer? Only asking just to be sure :-).
