Hi,
My Asus K7V133 has also a processor temperature at about 50C with a BIOS v1004A on it. I got a Athlon 1,2 GHZ, and have 1,024 GB memory. I've got a Globalwin heatsink which works nicely, but have heard that the Swifttech is the top of the crop.
So I suppose I'll stay with that BIOS too.

If you don't need extra features and the BIOS works OK for you, why upgrade? Don't fix it if it ain't broken! If you do need extra features or bugfixes I can send you a "fixed" BIOS that supposedly fixes the temperature problem. I have an Asus A7V133 +Athlon 1400 on which i tried this "fixed" BIOS but it didn't make much difference. Temparatures still hover between 51-55C. Before that I've put some extra fans in the box which resulted in about 10C lower temparatures (and a lot more noise). Let me know if you want this BIOS OK? Marcel
