[opensuse] Seamonkey locks up

Seamonkey openSUSE was recently upgraded to version 2.12. Since then, I've noticed the email app frequently locks up solid for several seconds. This happens both when reading and composing email. When it locks up, CPU History, in System Monitor, hits the ceiling and stays there. Has anyone else noticed this?
