Hi, all:
A quick question:
Every time I reboot, it carry out self test. I don't get this behaviour in Windows.
Can you clarify what sort of "self test" you're talking about? Is it the BIOS RAM scan? Some BIOSes allow you to configure that, but they're all different (well, there are several varieties). Or is it a file-system consistency check you're referring to? If you're talking about a file system check and it's happening on every reboot cycle, then something is wrong. Do you always perform a clean shutdown? Because you really, really should. Simply turning off the power is very risky and runs a high risk of data loss and file system corruption.
How can I config to skip this step?
Thanks
