Hi All,
One of the things that have prevented me from moving from windows to Linux is having the email client, evolution crash all the time with the volume of email I have.
I've been running kmail for years. Since it gained the ability to use maildir instead of mbox several releases ago, its been quite stable and fast. It has almost automatic rule creation, and handles lots of mail boxes (directories). In fact, the more the merrier, as the finer you sort the faster it is. I use the automatic expiration on those folders that I don't need to retain (mailing lists which are searchable anyway like this list). That keeps the folder size reasonable. I gotta say you got Spunk! Showing up here touting Outlook!! Cheeky! I've had to salvage more than one user's Outlook folder system when it gets too big, and don't find it at all fun. It is not entirely reliable on windows and I wouldn't trust it under XoverOffice -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
