#### 11.4 Changes ######
Start-Up: --------- For 11.4 we completely revamped that Start-Up guide. It now consists of 5 chapters derived from the former quickstarts:
* Installation * KDE * GNOME * LibreOffice * Help & Troubleshooting
The first 3 chapters have been shipped as separate Quickstart with former openSUSE versions (filenames are the same as before). The LibreOffoce part is new, the Help & Troubleshooting remains in the Start-Up.
Reference: ---------- Most of the stuff that has been in previous Start-Up versions has been moved/merged into the Reference Guide.
Files having been added from old Start-Up:
* xml/inst_yast2.xml * xml/yast2_hw.xml * xml/yast2_sound.xml * xml/yast2_scanner.xm * xml/newbie_bash.xml * xml/newbie_perm_i.xml * xml/newbie_bash_commands_i.xml * xml/nm.xml * xml/nm_kde.xml * xml/nm_gnome.xml
I have just given a new user (who as got his system a bit ruined) a link to: Novell: openSUSE 11.2 Start (html) > 6.1 Benutzerkonzept > 6.1.1 Unterschiedliche Benutzerrollen http://www.novell.com/de-de/documentation/opensuse112/book_opensuse_startup/... witch equates to openSUSE Start-Up > Chapter 6. Basic Concepts http://doc.opensuse.org/products/opensuse/openSUSE_113/opensuse-startup/cha.new.html[/url] form Start-Up (Date 09 Mar 2011) http://doc.opensuse.org/products/opensuse/openSUSE_113/opensuse-startup Have I only not been able to find the passages in the new Reference or the new Startup or do you think something like it is not more necessary? I would doubt that it would be really wise to drop basics like that completely.
