No Subject

Hi all, I am getting a funy behaviour for my backspace and del keys. On an normal xterm prompt and inside programs like ftp and telnet they dont work. Does anyone know why? They work fine on the prompt itself and even work fine inside those applications if I just use console mode instead of X.
