Printing problems in 13.1/KDE3 were the usual niggles carried over from previous releases. Last week I moved to 42.1/KDE3, fresh / install, but kept old /home, and printing has become a problem.
My printer is a <year-old Brother HL-5470DW (non-GDI) laser connected on wired ethernet.
What prints: YaST2 test page (sanely) Konq 3 (sanely) rv10.0 (mozilla.org binary Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0.12) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.12; Build ID: 20130103094221; insanely, gigantic text unless shrinking text default sizes to too small to read on screen, 12px or 13px.) What claims to print, yet produces no response from printer: rv17.0 (BS:Legacy rpm Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0; Build ID: 2013111800) rv38.5 (mozilla.org binary Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0; Build ID: 20151214153240) rv42.0 (mozilla.org binary Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.39; Build ID: 20151103174305) rv43.0 (mozilla.org binary Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.41; Build ID: 20151219133840; with existing profile and with virgin profile)
Attachment is content from virgin profile FF43 browser console. FF43 was opened solely to open the particular page to test printing with this version and profile.
Systemctl stop cups; <delete> cups' cache and spool data; systemctl start cups didn't help. Rebooting didn't help.

http://localhost:631/jobs shows no jobs.
http://localhost:631/jobs?which_jobs=all lists 4 jobs, but I'm not sure if they are all from actual successes or not. I think all are from genuine successes.
https://en.opensuse.org/ seems to have no page dedicated to printer troubleshooting. Whether that matters I doubt, since only "one" program has the problem
Searching https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ and https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/ seem to produce nothing on point.
Advice how to proceed with troubleshooting welcome.
Have you tried printing from the version of Firefox that is actually provided by Leap? That should be version 41 If that works, then I would suspect you need to get in touch with Mozilla and try and troubleshoot with them what they are doing wrong with their binaries.
