[SuSE Linux] WinTV installation

Hi all, I want to install a Hauppauge WinTV card in my PC. I have read the docs and they contradict: the readme says adjust TUNER in the Makefile to a number corresponding to the card, the Makefile says do not edit but do it somewhere else (where I cannot find it). Can anyone give me any ideas of how to do it? P.S. For the Germans: I can speak and read German, not write it (failed that exam). Joost Kraaijeveld Askesis B.V.
