[opensuse] LibreOffice

I have LibreOffice version 3.4.5 installed and when writing a document today, with auto spell check enabled, just about every word was underlined indicating that the word was misspelled. I used F7 to bring up the spell checker and every suggestion for the correct spelling was in a foreign language even though I only have the US English installed. Has anyone else noticed this? openSUSE 12.1 Latest version from openSUSE-12.1-Update.
