Thanks for the note. Here are the results:

Apparently the plugin is where it should be, but it still isn't working.--
Indeed it is where it should be. In that case, I would (and did actually) download the newest 64 bit beta at http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer10/libflashplayer-10.0 .d 21.1.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz Then, uninstall the present, first via nspluginwrapper, i.e. nspluginwrapper -r /usr/lib64/browser-plugins/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so , then rpm -e flash-player to uninstall the 32 bit version. Afterward, copy the file libflashplayer.so from the tar.gz file to /usr/lib64/browser-plugins, and make sure the permissions are 755. As far as I know, there is no rpm for this yet, so this is the "manual" install. If Firefox was open, restart it and check it via the Tools Add Ons Plugins. It is working great here. HTH.

Just in case, if everything else fails, you can install the 32-bit firefox (look for "firefox_32" or something like that in the repo). You should also install: mozilla-xulrunner190-32bit mozilla-xulrunner190-gnomevfs-32bit mozilla-xulrunner190-translations-32bit .. and then check that plugin-wrapper is _not_ enabled.
