Recently I have seen this after installing 7.3 on several machines. The normal boot messages seen at start-up have lots of blank lines (carriage returns?) between them. Anybody else seen this or have a fix?
Search for "echo" in /etc/rc.config. There will be two lines with echo prepended. Remove the 'echo's and leave the rest of the lines (if you want). No, I seriously doubt it was intentional :-)* - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8Mwzd+FOexA3koIgRAjuHAJ42FGJf5GrQiISI8PvCrmn8dCqMXwCffw6y 6bZstsn1/6fV0xMpYN/tI7M= =DMB0 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
