Try to change the port on the USB hub you are using. It could also be a problem with your printer. I believe you would be better off using the 2.4.x kernel with USB instead of the 2.2.19.
Do you mean to set it on the other USB hub ?. As far as I have been informed there is a problem with the SuSEfirewall with the 2.4.x kernel ??. This is the reason I use 2.2.19. What say to this ?.
