If harddisks with built-in copy protecting protocols are going to set the standard for harddisks, what impact will that have for the open source concept?
I'm not necessarily sure, but as a network administrator who manages servers and ~125 'doze workstations with a very diverse hardware environment, it doesn't sound like much fun.
