So far so good, the composite manager is handling the transparencies very well (my laptops cpu isnt however :). Things seem a fair bit faster but that could just be my perception. I've only been using it for a little over an hour however and most of that time spent in a Terminal but I'm happy with it, although not happy enough to drop XFCE for it. Regards, Ben
