USB?

My installation of Suse 7.0 Pro with yast2 went very smoothly and a beautuful screen came up. But after a click or two of the mouse I have no mouse and no keyboard. I see "loading USB failed" fly by during the installation. I find it hard to beleive that can be a problem as there was no mouse problem with Red Hat. I tried sax2 without success. The mouse is a Logitech 3-button MouseMan. I sure would appreciate some help on this as it looks like a long wait to hear from Suse. Jack
