Just wondering, I have observed that there is no oldschool ifconfig (package net-tools or what it was called) any more. I have never grown accustomed to ip and other tools just yet ;(

and so comes to my mind as replacements to ifconfig, but i liked the counters and some stuff of ifconfig as a brief overview.
there is ss and some other tools as replacements for netstat arp and more.
Maybe time to learn new things daily.
