SO 6.0 Beta 1 is available from www.sun.com and it's a beta.
The StarOffice that is on SuSE 7.3 is SO 5.2 and is called "so_en" for English users. I also downloaded SO 6.0 Beta 1 for my SuSE 7.2 (before I upgraded) and for my W2K platform at work. Believe it or not, I prefer the 5.2 monolithic layout, with the desktop capture, if desired. JLK
I would read the errata on Sun's website for the differences. The big one is it's no longer a huge all in one desktop. The programs can be started as individuals..you don't have to have everything running to have a word processor.
