Big +1 to that! I can download 20-50 images, RAW+jpeg pairs then disconnect the camera IMMEDIATELY. But if I have the 500+ RAW that I can put on the 16G card then there's no way they all get downloaded before the battery is exhausted. Its as if the camera is powering the computer! Better to pull the card and use the reader slot.
