Use Search. tell it to look in descriptions too (by default it does not). Then search for kernel. One or more should turn up the says kernel sources. Warning: installing a new kernel is not trivial. Whatever you do, don't forget to run lilo after it's installed. I strongly recommend backing up your current kernel too. Oh, and if you DO back itup, back up /lib/modules/<current kernel verion> because installing a new kernel will often wipe those out. Then you'd be stuck even if you had backup your vmlinuz and initrd :-D JW -- ---------------------------------------------------- Jonathan Wilson System Administrator Cedar Creek Software http://www.cedarcreeksoftware.com
