endmail?!

erm.. Yes, a notorious beast. Apologies; anytime I see the word sendmail I
see "hacker's paradise" and have to blugeon the bastard with a big stick.
If you feel up to it, try qmail, a clean sendmail replacement.
http://www.qmail.org/ ; written by Dan Bernstein, a dude so paranoid he
avoids linking against libc when humanly possible.
If you don't switch, qmail.org is some good educational reading and you'll
probably find other neat toys there by DJB (such as tcpserver).
qmail's original home is http://pobox.com/~djb/qmail.html , maintained by
DJB; I suggest you check this site first if the interest strikes your fancy.
More good reading (if you decide that sendmail really is satan) is LWQ (Life
with qmail), maintained by Dave Sill. It points out most if not all of the
tricks of the qmail trade. You can find it at
http://web.infoave.net/~dsill/lwq.html
| Any thoughts, hints, and suggestions.
| On another note, one of the "other" machines is running Win98 and IE5
| [Outlook Express 5] and I email
| one of the users almost daily. She says that emails from me seem to
| always be in the Deleted Folder. I don't seem to be able to find out
| where this is screwed :o/ Any ideas anyone?
